Accessing Your UIUC Email Account
As a University of Illinois student, you have a student email account. Your email is accessible via a program called CITES Express Email (CITES is the UIUC campus computing group). Please review the Guide to CITES Express Email.
While you are a registered student, official correspondence from the University will be sent to your CITES Express Email account.
If you are registered in a Computer Science (CS) course, note that all correspondence for CS classes will be sent to your CITES Express Email account. You are expected to check this account frequently.
Setting Your CITES Express Email Password
Please note that generic NetID passwords must be reset at
https://passwords.cites.uiuc.edu/index.html
before you can create a CITES Express Email password.
