Bringing the Classroom to You
The top-tier education available at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is now more easily accessible for students in the Chicagoland suburbs. Graduate courses in Business Management for Engineers will be offered live in Naperville. Visit our Course Offerings page for a list of Fall 2008 courses.
Top-tier CS Programs Available
The Master of Computer Science (MCS) degree earned in our mixed-mode program (combination of online delivery of lectures and live discussion sessions) through Illinois' Naperville Campus is the exact same degree that is awarded on-campus. On-campus lectures are captured and streamed over the Internet. These lectures are available on the course Web site within an hour of the on-campus class and remain accessible throughout the semester allowing students to review material as necessary.
Additionally, weekly discussion sessions are held live at Illinois' Naperville Campus to provide students the opportunity to interact with teaching assistants and other students (minimum course enrollment applies). Students in this program are held to the same standards as on-campus students and are required to participate in class projects, turn in the same homework, and complete the same exams as on-campus students. Our online courses bring the classroom to you without sacrificing the quality graduate education you would expect of our institution.
